Devonshire is a student housing cooperative at Purdue University. Since its founding in 1997, Devonshire has been dedicated to fostering a supportive and engaging community. As the smallest cooperative house, we have 17 in-house members who create strong bonds and have excellent leadership opportunities. Like all cooperatives at Purdue, we do our own cooking, cleaning, and maintenance, allowing us to build important and practical life skills. We also pride ourselves on our house values, fun traditions, and year-round social activities.

“Devonshire gives me a strong sense of community and sisterhood that I never had before, since I do not have a sister.”

"I decided to rush because I was looking for a strong support system of girls, sisterhood, and making lifelong friends."

Kaitlyn Yost, PC '25

"I love how Devo feels like a true home, where everyone supports each other, celebrates individuality, and carries on meaningful traditions that make our community so special."
